Wilma (Women In Leadership and Management Australasia) is a community for networking, sharing experiences, insights and knowledge. Founded in April 2014 with the vision of making an impact on gender equality in the workforce. With only 24% of women placed in senior roles, 10% female founders, 10% female investors, 24% women sourced in the news, something had to change.
Our mission is to help women advance in the workplace, both for themselves and the greater good. We strive to change the culture of business from the inside out
We’ve become passionate about catalysing this change. We saw how important it was to have more women as leaders, founders, investors and technical talent.
We love hearing your thoughts, stories and opinions so please get in touch if you have something you want to share with the community!
“Communication is the key to personal and professional success”
Want to get involved? Get in touch. We would love to hear from you!
Failing to network, find a mentor or appropriate training can be damaging to your career. Luckily, Wilma is a proud supporter of some of the most influential networking events, conferences and workshops that take place throughout Australasia.
Focussing on niche markets such as tech, public sector and engineering, these events bring together like-minded women from all levels to help open another step up and succeed.
