Mary Linnell is an inspirational leader who has been running a successful business in a male-dominated construction sector for over 13 years. Originally raised in Canada, Mary’s background includes working in hospitality and winning ‘Top Novice Worldwide’ awards at Flight Centre LTD. After this success, Mary launched ‘Easy Glass Services’ in 2002 and now leads a team of 11 in fabricating and installing custom-made glass products.
Mary takes on both residential and commercial clients and recently completed a two-tower project in Darwins CBD.
Throughout Mary’s career she has hit some hurdles but the biggest challenge came around in 2012 when she restructured her business from a partnership to a sole tradership. Avoiding bankruptcy, redeveloping Easy Glass’s credibility and achieving strong profitability, Mary considers it an incredible example of overcoming adversity.

As a result of her strength and determination, Mary was named 2015 Telstra Northern Territory Business Women of the year!
